From Gasthof Zillertal, follow the marked hiking trail in the direction of Gasthof Zimmereben. The climbing garden is located about halfway along the hiking trail.

From Mayrhofen train station, walk along the railway tracks until you reach the Gasthof Zillertal (starting point).
Parking
For the via ferratas and the Himmelsleiter climbing area, there is a car park for which a fee is charged. This is located approx. 300 m out of the valley from the Gasthof Zillertal. !!! Do not park at the Gasthof Zillertal !!!

The via ferratas around Mayrhofen and the Gasthaus Zimmereben offer an ideal playground for all ability levels and age groups to let off steam. The short approach and descent routes, the Gasthaus Zimmereben at the exit, and the fantastic views over Mayrhofen round off the climbing experience.

Access
The via ferratas are located near Gasthof Zillertal. They can be reached from Mayrhofen railway station in around 10 minutes. Alternatively, you can drive to the dedicated via ferrata car park, from where the start points can be reached in just a few minutes.

Descent
From the exit shortly to the inn Zimmereben. Pass the game reserve and keep left via the Huterlanersteig (No. 2C) back to the starting point. Please do not descend via the via ferrata!

From Mayrhofen cross the railroad tracks and continue across the Ziller (river) past the Gasthof Zillertal to the specially created via ferrata parking lot. Please do not park directly at the Gasthof Zillertal! Parking see link.
